Patient Participation Group
What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
A PPG is a group of patients, carers and staff who meet to discuss service issues, new innovations, and patient experience to support in improving services. The PPG here at Churchview Surgery meet every three months and always welcome new members.
This gives patients the chance to make positive suggestions about the Practice and it’s aim is to help patients take more responsibility for their health, as well as helping to develop self-help projects to meet the needs of other patients, such as; befriending, help with transport and bereavement support.
The PPG can be instrumental in carrying out surveys in a whole variety of subjects and work along side the Practice Team to ensure patients are happy!
